As I was reading some of the past messages, I wanted to offer my thoughts on what Napa has to offer. Recently I had dinner Angele, the same night as Michael Bauer was.Of course I could hardly wait to read his review. The room is very comfortable, and nicely decorated. Most of our dinner was good. But I have to say he was correct about the shepherds pie. Fume has proven to to have good food, and service, the few times I have been. Zu Zu has been hit or miss the few times I have gone. I love Pizza Azzurro, Villa Corona, and burgers at Red Rock. As far as up valley, a few days ago we tried Hurleys, lovely atmosphere, the food was good . Roux in St helena just got a great review from my Mom. There seems to be a definate difference most of the time between where the locals eat and where visitors eat.
