Dining for group of 15 in Pismo / Arroyo Grande area

I know there have been a lot of posts regarding restaurants in the Pismo Beach area, but this is a little unique. My family is meeting there the first weekend of October to celebrate my parents 50th anniversary dinner. We have reservations at the Gardens of Avila for their formal celebration dinner on Saturday night. I am looking for a more reasonably priced, family oriented place for Friday night's dinner. I have contacted Guiseppi's, Rosa's and Brad's. None of them will take reservations, even for a group of this size. The owner of Brad's said that there is a restaurant called "Shellie's" across the street that might be able to accomodate us. I have never heard of it. I have eaten at a place I thought was called "Fins" right next to the entrance to the Oceano dunes that had a great family sytle fish and chips meal, but I can't find a word on-line about it. I'm not sure that is the name. Someone wrote of an Italian restaurant in Arroyo Grande, but didn't note the name. Maybe they wouldn't be so strict about reservations. We are going to be spending a bundle on Saturday for a wine tour, dinner, etc; so would like this to be moderately priced. Thanks for any help you can offer.
