I will be seeing a show this coming May at Constitution Hall and will be taking the metro from Baltimore to D.C. I have already researched dining near Constitution Hall and it seems to be pretty much of a wasteland.
My husband and I want to grab some dinner before our 8:00 Thursday Eddie Izzard show. Since we will be getting off at the Farragut West stop I thought that would be a logical place to dine.
We really know very little about D.C. - I haven't eaten there in years as the layout and streets really confuse me (another topic!)
I keep reading about Granville Moore's... if that was close-by my decision would be made.
Mussels,Frites,Salad and a few beers sounds heavenly... However I don't see myself being that lucky... but let me know if it is!
Any suggestions would be great... Ideally we are looking for maybe a more upscale style of pub type atmosphere. Last time we ate in DC before a show we ate in the bar at Ebbitt Grill and that suited the mood perfectly. We would like somewhere we can get lots of small plates or appetizers as opposed to full meals. Nothing fancy either...
Please help!! D.C. confuses this Baltimore gal!! Thanks in advance!
