Hubby and I love lambchops. More often then not, based on economic reasons, we settle for the "lollipop" lambchops offered at many of the local restaurants. We enjoy those at the Reef Grille in Timonium, Stoney River Steakhouse, etc.
The more upscale lambchops are those we enjoy which are available at Flemings Steakhouse.
But, we are searching for even higher grade lamchops/rack of lamb (which was something we ordered when Peerces Plantation was still in business).
Last Christmas time we were able to order a rack of lamb from Giant, which I prepared for our Christmas dinner. Since I am far from being proficient at cooking I am proud to say that I didn't do too badly. Hubby was quite pleased at my efforts.
But, nothing can compare to a professionally prepared rack of lamb or lambchops.
Since my birthday is coming up, I would love to find a restaurant that provided the aforementioned prime lambchops and, since it is MY BIRTHDAY, FoieGras. I am inclined to select Charleston, knowing that they usually have some of my favorite decadent offerings--FoieGras, sweetbreads, fried green tomatoes, cheese course to cause cardiac arrest, etc.
I am confident that my fellow Chowhounder's will come to my "aide" and provide me with what I am hankering for food-wise. Thanks in advance. FoiGras
