I called the Brooklyn Tourism office, but they still did not know anything about Dine In Brooklyn for this year. Then I called the Brooklyn Papers, and the person who answered the phone said that for some reason, "the restaurants chose not to promote the event in advance this year." So the list of restaurants will not appear in the paper until NEXT Friday (March 31st), only a few days before the event begins! Strange.
Seems like the restaurants are so ambivalent. Either they should do Dine In Brooklyn with all the usual advance publicity, or not do it all. What's with this sort of weird, passive-aggressive secrecy?
