Dim Sum is one of my favorite meals but I often feel I showed up at the wrong hour. Either the place is empty or the food doesn't look as fresh as it should.
Is it better to consider it a breakfast hour meal(8:30) or a brunch hour meal(noon-ish)? Are dumplings and such usually prepared en masse in the early hours and then just kept steaming when I eat them in the afternoon? When is the optimal time to show up?
Any info on the traditional Chinese time for Dim Sum would be appreciated.
