Dim Sum @ Sheppard/Kennedy

Sierramum | Feb 15, 2004 07:17 PM

This morning, we went for dim sum at a restaurant called The Very Fair Chinese at 4002 Sheppard Avenue (n/e corner @ Kennedy). It's in the basement of an office building, but the layout is nice with the trolleys able to manouevre well. They have a large selection of various dim sum. We enjoyed the shrimp and beef cheung fan, har gow, siu mai, beef balls, deep fried shrimp rolls, curried squid, deep fried octopus tentacles, deep fried shrimp wonton, turnip cake, cha siu bau (BBQ pork buns), hot pot rice topped with spare ribs and chicken feet (foot?), dumpling in soup, egg tart, and mango pudding. And that was just a small sampling of what was going past! The staff were friendly and accommodating and even though at times the noise level got a bit high, it was still a very nice experience. We're looking forward to more visits to this particular restaurant. Total price with tax and tip for 6 adults and 2 children: $80.00

Quite reasonable in our opinion.
