Just noticed today that the until-recently Hong Kong Clay Pot City was having a "Grand Opening" as just plain "Hong Kong Dim Sum" including the obligatory congatulatory potted plants (well, ONE potted plant, at least). I've never been to the location in its incarnation as "HK Clay Pot City" so I don't know if a real change has taken place or if it's just a change in marketing focus. It was reborn complete with a small corps of hawkers handing out menus to tourists, as if we needed that gauntlet strengthened. According to the handout, it's $1.80/$2.30/$2.80 for s/m/l and appears to be order from checklist.
It's at 960 Grant Avenue, corner of Jackson, upstairs. I think that may have been the location of Louie's of Grant Avenue at one time, but my memory is foggy on that (probably because we usually went there after getting drunk at Vesuvio's).
