We were in a month or two ago, and thought it had slipped a bit. We revisited Saturday morning, and thought it was the best meal we've had there.
Shrimp dumplings (2 orders) had a light, sheer wrapper around a very moist, incredibly sweet, warm nugget of shrimp.
Pork dumplings were substantial in size, with a thicker wrapper, but still very tender, and a juicy, tastey meat filling.
Singapore noodles were delicious, with a little curry-ish kick, tossed with peppers, sprouts, egg and other goodies.
Pork ribs were meaty, greasey, well seasoned, cooked til done but still chewy, and again served very warm.
A huge plate of a combination of chinese broccoli, green beans and asparagus in oyster sauce were still bright green, crunchy, hot and perfectly balanced.
Clams in black bean sauce were a disappointment. The clams were clean, plentiful, and well cooked, but the sauce was too much of a brown gravy with a few black beans rather than the salty, oily, slickness that I like.
Egg Drop Soup, ordered for the 3-year old chowpup, was awful. Too yellow, too saly, too corn starchy. But he loved it, especially with the crunchies that came along side.
Eight dishes, plus two beers for Dad and a soda for Mom, the bill was $37 before tip.
