Dim Sum at Central Seafood in Hartsdale

Shawn | Apr 29, 2004 06:05 PM

I finally got to Central Seafood in on Central Avenue in Hartsdale for dim sum today. It was very disappointing.
First of all, no carts. They left a small dim sum menu on the table. Started off with bean curd skin roll and shrimp dumplings. The roll was greasy and cold and the dumplings extrememly heavy. Sticky rice was so overcooked I couldn't peel it off the lotus leaf. That rice will be sitting in my stomach for the next week. Steamed pork buns were ok. The entire meal had the feel of something that had been prepared long in advance then left to warm. Usually eat more dim sum when I go out, but we had no will to go on after sampling these items.
