I had some great dim sum at Casa Imperial today, some of the stand out items are :
- seafood dumpling in clear broth
Very strong tasty soup base, lots of seafood (scallop and shrimp) in there with sharkfin (not a lots but at least you see them). Best one in GTA and better than LWH.
- Cuttlefish tentacle with spice
Just looking at the pic, you know it is good. The tentacle is well prepared, not hard, not soft, chewy and just right.
- Ha Gow
Big, firm with a nice smell and taste, can't really tell what that is, is it jin wah ham broth ?!
- Crispy bean curd with meat and seafood row
With sweet soy sauce, peanut sauce and hoisin sauce, mix them up ! delicious !
Overall, it is still one of the best dim sum place in Markham/Richmond hill, price is about 30% to 40% less than Lai Wah Heen. But of course, there is nothing with truffle and foie gras in Casa.
