Dim Sum

Oceanlover | Apr 6, 200407:35 PM

We are coming from the Peninsula and want to meet our Santa Rosa friends for lunch. We were trying to think of a good place preferably dim sum that wouldn't necessitate them driving into the heart of the city like Chinatown, Rincon Annex or Harbor Village in the Embarcadero.

I have heard good things about Ton Kiang on Geary - would that fit the criteria? Is it terribly hard to park on a Saturday? Any other suggestions on Geary that might be a straight shot from Golden Gate Bridge?

Another non-dim sum option might be restaurants in the Marina as I assume there will be not be a good dim sum opportunity in this district.

The only restaurant I am familiar with on Chestnut is Cafe Marimba.

Look forward to your suggestions....
