Who knew?? I was low on dried dill. Put it on my list and picked up more "dill" . . .Went to go make tuna salad and pulled out the "weed" . . .Looks like I might need a mortar and pestle!! Ha! I went ahead and put it into the salad and put it all in the frig but I'm wondering - Does anyone else muck up their choices when they're at the grocery store?
This is my system for when I'm running low on something - set the "product" out on the counter (unless it's perishable) and put it on a master list on the frig. When I see it on sale and have a coupon or whatever, I get it at the store. I wrote down "Dill" and bought "Dill" and still had the empty container to verify what I had been using before. The empty container says "Seed" and the new container says "Weed" (No, lie, I couldn't even make this up!}
So, how specific do I need to get when doing the grocery list?
This might get moved but maybe I'm just stupid in not knowing what all forms food, spices come in??
