Didn't know whether to post this here on Homecooking or Food Media and News. Never heard of either of the above till I got turned onto MasterChef Professional on BBC America (thanks, Caroline!) Some of the contestants made "chocolate fondant" and one food critic said, "We've all tasted thousands of chocolate fondants." Later on, when a contestant made chocolate moelleux (she called it chocolate "mollo"), judge Gregg Wallace said something like "You've done it for me for chocolate fondant--from now on it's going to be chocolate moelleux."
They both look like what I've heard called chocolate lava cake. I've never had any of these (if they are 3 different things), but is a chocolate moelleux something a not-very-proficient home cook could make at home?
