Hello wonderful people of Chowhound!
I really would like to know if there is any real difference between calrose rice and glutinous rice. I have been making a lot of Korean food this past year and I've been using calrose rice as my "go to" rice for eating meals with.
From the little that I researched there didn't seem to be a real difference between sticky rice and calrose rice so I've mostly just been buying calrose rice since it's cheaper for me to buy. Is there really a difference or are they basically the same thing?
