I've seen the "pit" parked in the Dierbergs parking lot in Wildwood, but I'd never tried any. Tonight we did, and it was pretty good. Good enough that we'd go back for more. We bought a rack of ribs, done that day, with sauce on the side. St. Louis sauce is always too sweet for someone who watches her carbs--like me--but if you ask for it on the side, the meat isn't soaked in sauce when you get home.
I know so little about barbecue, but I think they are the St. Louis style ribs.
We really enjoyed them. There are also whole and half chickens with a beautiful glossy brown skin, and pulled chicken and pork. The smokers are at 7 Dierbergs' locations. Anyone else had this?
