Every year, I treat myself to a pancake gorge. Usually, I go to John O'Groats, and chow down on a selection of thier cakes, plus the FABULOUS biscuits.
Every year, I woner if I should try the Griddle.
John O'Groat's Pros: Good cakes with several nice flavors, biscuits, open early so I can beat the crowds (I hate long waits, especially for breakfast!)
O'Groats cons: You pay extra for real maple syrup. I've been there before.
Griddle pros :lots of huge cakes in many different flavors. Real syrup no extra
Griddle Cons: opens at 8, already crowded. NO BISCUITS!
I prefer huge fluffy cakes.
