Let me know if this should be on the not about food board.
A friend from Guatamala found out he had type 2 diabetes. He is living in the Bay Area. I'm wondering if anyone out there with better Spanish than I knows of any links to diabetes recipes in Spanish. The best I could find was this site for juvenile diabetes below.
Entering "recetas para diabéticos" in Goggle gets me a recipe here and a recipe there. Even with my limited Spanish, a lot of this stuff looks BORING.
I'm hoping to find a book or link that would provide recipes that are close to regular Hispanic cooking modified for a diabetic.
I've found a number of good sites in Spanish about diabetes in genereal (well, they seemed that way to me), but I'm having trouble with the actual recipe part.
If you can help, I'd appreciate it.
