Di Fara's meatballs

There is not a lot that has not been said about Di Fara's on these boards but things are dead at work today so at the risk of beating a dead horse, here's some more.

I went with a group of 7 guys to feast at Di Fara's last nite. As usual, it was a treat. We ordered big! A cheese pie, a 1/2 sausage 1/2 pepperroni pie, a chicken parm hero, a veal parm hero, a sea bass (drenched in butter but super fresh), two salads and an order of meatballs over ziti.

The find of the nite was Dom's meatballs. Ive never ordered them before, and can't remember reading any posts about them, but I am kicking myself for lost time. I knew I was in business when my deluxe plastic fork cut through them like butter. Boy were they tasty. I can't be positive because Dom was too busy to ask, but they sure tasted like veal. Ill shy away from the ziti next time but I may have to take the journey on the D train tomorrow for those darn meatballs...Ive been thinking about them all day.
