Lunch at Devil Dawgs, a highly rated Chicago dog and sausage institution. Large menu of hot dogs, sausages, sliders and chicken sandwiches. Along with fries, rings and shakes. The meat in casing menu included lots of options of preparation. From traditional Chicago style to taco dogs, kraut and caramelized onions. We had the kraut and onions on a 10-inch bratwurst and a semi Chicago style dog and one with cheddar bacon and the caramelized onions. She had to switch to knife and fork due to the disintegration of the bun from moisture. And thought the kraut had no flavor. The onions added too much wetness to my dogs also but the buns held up better. The dog with the cheese was really good the other just ok. Nice hot fries and freshly made rings both tasty. there may be better in town but this was very good.
