Philadelphia has philly cheesesteak sandwiches, NYC has bagels, Chicago has deep dish pizza... what's Detroit's contribution to the culinary world?
I'll be travelling to Imlay City (just north of Detroit) next week and I'm looking for recommendations for good value grub (<$15 for a meal would be ideal). It would be great if the recommendations highlighted a regional specialty available only in and around Detroit... I wanna eat what the locals eat!
I'm a pretty adventurous eater, so anything goes.
I'm looking forward to any recommendations you can give.
Thanks in advance!
