Haven't heard much on this board about La Flor recently. On Friday night, after introducing a friend to Sripraphai (a very gratifying experience), we walked down Roosevelt to La Flor for dessert. The special was a "hot chocolate souffle" that blew my Sripraphai-addled mind with deliciousness. It easily rivaled the fancy desserts that you'd get at expensive nouvelle restaurants in Manhattan (which I like; I don't mean to be derisive). It made me realize that I should patronize this restaurant a lot more often.
