I'm an Australian XO sauce lover and I read recently that William Grimes from the NY Times did a nice piece on the origins of the stuff. I checked their site - it was indeed published in his Critic's August 16, 2000.

But to access their archive would cost five bucks a throw at the current $A-$US exchange, so I was wondering if anyone krazily decided to scan/copy the text, and if so, could they send me a copy or post it to the board?


Am fairly well-informed on other Asian food matters, but the elusive XO can always do with more research.
