I am sure you can all relate when I tell you that food is my passion. But for me it is an unequivocal obsession. I love growing it, cooking it, sniffing the hallways of my condo for new ideas
I even tend to dream about it (dancing sugar plums, etc
). I once had a friend make the claim that I love food more than I love men I have yet to offer up a rebuttal.
So it would seem a natural progression for me to leave the shackles of my suited world and follow my stomach, err heart. I have desperately searched for culinary schools in the District but have gone without any good leads. Im from Seattle where every community college has a culinary department and am having trouble finding an inexpensive school where I can learn technique. Does anyone have a suggestion for a school or an alternative way to gain the institutional knowledge I want?
