Desperate to buy SASSO Wine Vinegar!!!! Please help!

italgal | Aug 14, 200912:27 AM     5

I LOVE super strong wine vinegar and a few years ago, I brought back a bottle of Sasso red wine vinegar (7%) from Italy. Well, it was the closest thing to my uncle in Italy's homemade vinegar and I was in heaven. Unfortunately, I ran out much too quickly. I searched around and found it at an Italian deli in Glendale, but they didn't always have it in stock and eventually stopped carrying it. One day I was reading my La Cucina Italiana, and there was an ad for Sasso olive oil and a phone number in New York for Sasso. To cut a long story short, the person on the other end actually contacted a local store and when I went in to talk to the manager about carrying the vinegar, he took me to the shelf and it was there! Sadly, it must not have sold enough and they no longer carry it. Lately, I have not found one store which carries it, have searched the internet to order it online to no avail, emailed Sasso with no response and am going through withdrawals without this vinegar. Has anyone seen this vinegar anywhere in the Los Angeles/Orange County/Ventura area? I am willing to drive and am ready to buy a case when I find it. Please let me know if you do...thank you SO much!
