Went for a second time to DENIM last night. Went with some clients from out of town this time. Much much better entrees this time around.
I went with the spring rolls again as they were awesome last time. Everyone else got an Asian soup that was not on the menu but highly recommended by the waiter. Everyone said how incredible it was. I would give this part a 9 out of 10 only because it wasn't too original. Excellent.
I went with the organic baby chicken. Others had the lamb, swordfish & scallops. My chicken was excellent. It was served with mash potatoes, onions and cranberry. I tried the other dishes and they too were excellent. The swordfish was okay but not outstanding. Also rate this a 9 out of 10.
This is a big disappointment. First it was a small menu with only 3-4 choices. The trio sorbet was not good at all. Could not eat it. The cheesecake was also not good as it was way too creamy and looked more like pudding. Finally we also got a sampler with 3 desserts. The flan was good, some type of cake was bad and the apple wonton was so-so. This part was a 4 out of 10.
Service was timely and very courteous. The waiter was knowledgeable and nice overall. The desserts were brought out 5 minutes apart so that part was bad.
Overall this experience was better than my last. Avoid the free bread, very bad, and the duck.
Rate this experience a 9 out of 10.
