Demeyere Silver 7 - Not Atlantis V2

mobiledynamics | Jun 9, 201812:11 PM

1st time seeing the Silver 7 series. I do have a sealed proline I got awhile back. Not *silver 7 branded*. Atlantis branded

Anyhow, from my brief musings/readings on CH, was it inferred that the Silver7 series was just a Atlantis series but with rims encapsulated ? and obvious slight handle/lid differences.

For sure the 8 qt stock & the saute in the Silver 7 are not Atlantis equivalents. Unless I felt stronger today than usual, both the 8L Stock and 5L saute are lighter than the ATL equivalents which I am very familiar with.

The skillets and saucier look on par with Proline thickness. I did not take much observation, but visually, it's the disc based ones that look and weigh thinnere....with my wiki reference comparisions to my Atl. disc based ones.

Eh, maybe I misread the Silver7 series CH thread and interpreted as such, meaning they were Atlantis pieces with a encapsulated rim on the skillets, but sofar, per my disc based observations on this series, this is not ATL V2 like for like on specification.
