Q for Demeyere Atlantis and Induction Owners

Robenco15 | Oct 23, 201807:57 PM     11

This may be a futile question, but my Demeyere Atlantis saucepan buzzes on my GE Cafe induction stove from between 5 to Hi settings. Not the end of the world, but it also reacts when other pots are on the stove top. If both pots are above a 6 power it not only buzzes, but a high pitch sound is emitted and changes pitch as I turn the power knobs. It feels like I’m tuning a radio sometimes haha.

I have been living with this for a few months now, and honestly it isn’t a huge deal. With all the sounds of cooking going on you don’t even always hear it. I’m here just wondering if you think I should return and replace it and maybe the replacement won’t buzz and ring? Or is it more so just the way the pan is constructed and the way my stove is?

Anyone else out there have similar experiences with this pan? Maybe even this stove top (GE Cafe CHS995SELSS)?

I wanted to purchase the Demeyere Atlantis saute pan, but after this experience I’m not totally sure. Thanks so much for any insights and personal experiences!
