Delivery options in Montreal

Thought it might be interesting to have a thread about the different options for food delivery (prepared foods from restaurants, not groceries). The 2 main services always seemed to be A La Carte Express and Just Eat, but after reading this article:, I learned about Foodora and have also recently learned of Plat, which delivers by bike. Does anyone have anything to report about one service versus another? Area covered, delivery charges, number of restos to choose from, quality of service, quality of website? Also, isn't it odd for one restaurant to offer delivery via several different services? I guess restaurants are happy to just be out there as much as possible, getting whatever business they can and perhaps servicing a wider geographic area, but it seems weird to me. And some restaurants do their own delivery, in addition to using third party deliverers. Finally, why is it so hard to find out what company delivers for a given restaurant? Websites rarely seem to mention it, you have to just search all the delivery services or phone the resto. Anyone have anything else to say about current restaurant delivery options?
