Anybody had a "Deli Manjoo" cake snack?

I've seen these thumb-size corn cakes (filled with something like Bavarian creme) at SuperH and being made at Banh Mi DC Sandwich. They looked intriguing, but expensive (24 for $8) and the lady making them wasn't offering to let me sample any broken ones.

They have a website with some even more intriguing products (there's an "English" option on the page) at

Sources on the Web say they're a staple at South Korean subway stations.

By the way, while we're on "made before your eyes" products, the big rice cakes made in the corner stall at Super H are subtly sweet and yummy!
