Delicious Food Co., Oakland

Melanie Wong | Jul 24, 200404:12 AM     3

A few weeks ago after the chow lunch at Joy Luck and the not very satisfying custard tart taste-off, I was still wanting a spot of sweets for dessert. I stepped into Delicious Food to browse the pastry case. We'd just been talking about ChowFun's fixation on ja dan (egg bombs), so when I saw them here I had to try one. Sold in threes, they'll also let you buy just one for something like 40ยข. It was pretty good with strongly eggy flavor and a crisp, nicely fried exterior dusted with sugar.

What else do 'hounds like here?
