Del Rey Kitchen - Dinner Last Week

Finally made it to dinner at Del Rey Kitchen with my wife last week and we both really liked the food and the service.

My wife started with the Mixed Mushroom Salad ($10.95) that is very good sized and is dressed with a Ponzu-Butter dressing and has Sautéed Cremini, Oyster and Shiitake Mushrooms, Baby Greens, Purple Cabbage, Tomato, Carrot, Onion.

I chose to begin wit the spicy Devil’s Tofu ($5.95) that consists of Soft Tofu topped with a Mustard/Ginger/Sesame/Shoyu Dressing.

We both selected the DRK HAMBURG STEAK ($15.95) with the Wagyu Beef & Kurobuta Pork Patty topped with their Housemade 18-Hour Demi-Glace Sauce and comes on a platter with Garlic Roasted Tomatoes and nicely browned and crisped Rosemary Potatoes. I chose to add the fried egg to mine that the offer for a small extra charge ($2.50). I thought the egg added a nice extra flavor profile that I would get again.

We look forward to going back and trying some of their pastas and other appetizers. We were both too full for dessert but I'd like to sample their Crème Caramel next time around.
