Del Friscos Grille Chestnut Hill

Had lunch and dinner there recently. The best part of the restaurant is the desserts everything else is just ok. The coconut cream pie is great and the lemon layer cake is delicious too. The cocktails each time we went were poorly made and tasted horrible. The prime rib sandwich is awful. I was excited to try it but when it arrived it looked and tasted bland and not great quality. We also had the sloppy burger which tasted just like the shake shack but more expensive. The heirloom tomato salad was tasteless and the burata cheese looked like cottage cheese. But what was the most disappointing was the service. Our server on our last visit completely ignored us and never came by to see how we were doing or if we needed anything. We had told her that the salads were not tasting right. She took them away but charged us and never came back to our table after that. She sent someone else over to clear our plates and deliver our check. I was hoping that this would be a great new find in Chestnut Hill and be a great weeknight dinner for casual fare but it seems like they need to work on their service and quality of food and drink.
