I need to bake and freeze a pumpkin cake for an event mid-week. It will not be frosted until after I defrost it.
How do I properly defrost it so that it does not become soggy or dry out?
Do I remove the plastic wrap after I take it out of the freezer and leave it on the counter unwrapped? Do I leave it wrapped and defrost overnight in the fridge? I have read all the older posts and they say both methods. What do you think is the best method?
