My husband makes toffee bars every Christmas. They're wonderful, but these beige and brown bars aren't very fancy. (He uses the classic Betty Crocker recipe with lots of melted Hershey bars on top.)
Is there anything I can do to make them look festive without messing with the wonderful taste?
I've tried white chocolate drizzles (last year) and edible glitter (the year before), but wasn't happy with the results. The white chocolate wasn't worth the effort (it's not very tasty), and the glitter mostly disappeared into the topping.
Any better ideas?
