Explain to me why the equivalent of an SGV Hong Kong style restaurant in the mold of 888, New Concept, Sea Harbor, etc., has not opened up west of downtown LA?
Is it the lack of a critical mass of clientele?
Is it people on the westside actually prefer Mr. Chow's to, say, something that Ocean Star might prepare?
People on the westside just don't like dim sum or live steamed lobster in cognac sauce?
Just curious b/c lotsa posts recently 'bout good chinese on the westside ...
