Bonjour! We will be in Paris for 6 days with our 9 year old. I've been scouring the boards and just started reading Paris By Mouth and John Talbott's blog. I have to admit I'm feeling very overwhelmed and could use some suggestions based on where we will be in the city.
We would like to keep lunches under €35 per person, and dinners up to €50PP (cost exclusive of any wine/cocktail addition). We want to do one blowout meal preferably no more than €250 pp.
My son is a fairly adventurous eater, yet a big fan of comfort food. His favorite meal we prepare at home is Thomas Keller's roast chicken with root vegetables with a crusty baguette. He also enjoys oysters, curries and noodles.
We own several bakeries, and are also ardent cheesehounds and chocolate lovers.
Any suggestions based on our locale/budget/interests would be very welcome! In the meanwhile, I'll continue to do my homework via searches and the above mentioned blogs. :)
Arrive at 1PM - would love a suggestion for a classic French comfort meal. Staying in the 6th, heading over to view the Eiffel Tower that eve.
