Dec. Trip - Would like advice

Eric R | Aug 26, 200401:23 PM

We will be returning to N.O. for a four-day trip in December. Our tentative plan is:

Thursday lunch Acme
Dinner Casamento’s

Friday lunch Uglesich's
Dinner Dick & Jenny’s / Mandina’s / Frankie & Johnny

Saturday lunch Tee-Eva (Heard it's very good. ??
Dinner Dick & Jenny’s / Mandina’s / Frankie & Johnny

Sunday Lunch
Dinner Galatoire’s / Arnaud’s / Antoine’s

I think Fiday lunch is set as I can't be sure we'll get there in time Thursday. I know Sunday dinner seems tourist, and you could line up 100 people both pro and con for all, but we'd like to do one 'old-time' NOLa restaurant. We can’t do Fiday lunch at Galatoire’s as Uglesich is set in stone. We LOVED Brigtsen's in June but will likely hold off there till the next, next time.

Friday/Saturday dinner is very flexible. ANY other recs welcome (moderate $$ best). We'll probably throw in Camelia Grill and Domilise's and maybe Johnny's Po Boys, and Napolean House for a Pimm's. I've also read very good things about Sid-Mars and Pascal's Manale for BBQ shrimp. I've also read the BBQ shrimp and Coconut Cake at K-Paul's are stand-out. Might that be an option for a lunch or dinner? (I know one must call way ahead for the cake). Last trip we hit Parkway, Elizabeth’s, Camelia to name a few.

Sorry for the length and thanks for your help,
