Just curious as to what other chowhounders think of De La Costa. My husband and I had dinner at De La Costa last night. The ambience is very modern and fitting for the menu concept. We enjoyed the ceviche sampler very much. The service was very attentive almost too much - every time a glass or plate was emptied someone pounced in to clear it - almost like a vulture. The tuna and cornish hen were good, but not awe inspiring. The pumpkin Flan was fair and the Tawny Port was excellent. We won't go again because we didn't feel the experience was worth the $200.
