Has anyone else tried this place? I just noticed it on my way to the 20th & P Street Subway. It's next door to it.
The inside of the shop is narrow, but still it seemed spacious. There were a few tables for dining in, but most folks, myself included, were getting their sandwiches to go.
All sandwiches are $3.95. The menu has the usual sandwich options -- roast beef, tuna, ham, California, etc.--nothing too extravagant. The sandwiches are about 6", which is the perfect size for me. They also offer a handful of sandwich toppings, similar to Subway -- lettuce, tomato, pickles, hot peppers and so on.
Also like Subway, the sandwich is prepared at the counter and you pick the toppings. And, like Quizno's, the sandwich is toasted.
One benefit is they sell Coke products, including Diet Coke with Lime.
I got the roast beef and swiss with tomatoes, pickles and hot peppers. It's quite good. Nothing to write home about, but a good alternative.
Here's the address and phone info from the receipt:

It also notes that they cater and deliver.
