DC for the family

hlbateman | Feb 2, 201807:45 AM

I will be traveling to DC with my daughter for two days before my husband and son join us for two more days. I am looking for recommendations for places to eat, specifically, that have gluten-free options, and are budget friendly. My daughter has celiacs disease and must avoid gluten. We will be with a group for the first two days and they have planned stops at the Pentagon City Mall and Union Station. What are your favorite gluten-free places at those locations? My husband and son will be joining us in the late afternoon (4:30 pm) on the second day and will be needing dinner for the first night. Our plans are to meet them at Union Station, where they will be arriving by train, and head to the hotel (Marriott Metro Center) to check-in. We will then head out to visit some of the monuments (Vietnam, Lincoln, Korean, Washington) and grab dinner. Recommendations for a budget-friendly, kid-friendly dinner near this area? The next day we will be going to the Zoo and the National Mall area for museums for the afternoon. Need breakfast and dinner recommendations here. Were thinking about lunch at CF Folks. Any thoughts?
