Dayton Ohio - Tsao's Garden

jackrugby | Feb 24, 201009:20 AM     9

This restaurant was mentioned in an earlier post, since then it has become my favorite Chinese restaurant. Their regular menu has many of the same items that you will find anywhere, But if you check out the white board menu behind the counter you will find many items not found at other places, including jelly fish! (haven't tried that yet)

They also have a lunch buffet. Most Chinese buffetts suck, but here they have a smaller number of choices that they keep fresher. On Saturdays the buffett has some very unique items. Some of the things I've recently sampled were a salad made of baby bamboo shoots, vegetable filled dumplings, and another salad made of pork tripe and slivers of green onions all very tasty.

Tsao's Garden is located at the corner of Col. Glenn Hywy and National Rd. near WPAFB and Wrigth State U. They close at 9pm and are closed on Sundays.
