We were in NYC in June for a week and found some amazing restaurants but know we missed many more. Now we are going back for a four-day trip in October and want to venture forth to new and exciting cusine horizons. Specifically, if we only go to one Chinese restaurant, what should that be? And how about vegetarian friendly places that also serve meat (my husband is a meat eater, and I am not)? I understand Balducci is no more (what a pity!). Is there anyplace like that? (I know Zabar's, but that's all.) In short, think of providing the full NYC experience in four days and give me a list of places not to miss.
