Ok, first off, I love Uncle Bills. I have been going for years and have only had one other problem where there was some plastic in my omelette and they brought me out a new one. The bf and I went yesterday for a late breakfast. He ordered coffee and I ordered an ice tea and asked for some sweet and low. I never got the sweet and low..luckily I had some in my purse that I used. I order my usual manhattan omelette with american cheese...which comes with hash browns and a choice of muffin, toast or pancakes. I ordered the pancakes. Our food arrives she asks if we need anything else.. I ask for salsa, which she brings back. The pancakes are cold and the butter that I spread on them wont melt. The omelette didnt have any cheese on it. I usually give a 20% tip for good service. How do you go about deducting when you have had some bad service? I was telling my boyfriend that I would take away 2% for each thing that is messed up..hah. I did give her a 15% tip. Is that appropriate? I know everyone has bad days..but I pay for and expect good service.
What do you think?
