Restaurants & Bars

Taking a day trip from NYC and looking for a unique or noteworthy lunch spot in the lower Hudson valley area.

zakappel | Mar 25, 201507:29 AM     20

We're gonna leave NYC, head up I87 till I84, go across the Hudson to Beacon, down to Cold Springs and then back to the city via route 9. (With assorted stops along the way.)

Anything stand out in that area that's worth the stop, or a small detour to? I'm open to anything from a gourmet food truck to a sit down restaurant, all cuisines welcome.

Thanks all.

Edit: So far we're planning on stopping at Denning's Point Distillery in Beacon, and Moo Moos creamery in Cold Springs.
