I learned about the (amicable?) split between Yannick Bigourdan and David Lee recently. My understanding is that David now owns NB and Yannick and Franco have kept the Carbon Bar. Also read that David plans on revamping the menu at NB.
My guess (or hope) is that he'll go back to a higher end style mimicking his Splendido days. Anyone have any insight? NB and Carbon Bar are on my must try list when I return for a visit to Toronto this August.
