OK, I am a little late to the party. I sometimes make candy at work, and have little reason to visit the candy aisle in the store. A couple of days ago, someone gave me some peanut M&M's, and they were great: the package said dark chocolate and not milk.
I quickly went to the store, and discovered plain M&M's, Kissables (sort of like an MM but shaped like a Kiss), and Hershey's Kisses using DARK chocolate, and not milk. I loved 'em, bought bags of them, and plan to get more when my supply runs out.
I simply do not like commercial candy (OK, I also liked the white chocolate Kit Kats, which seems to be extinct). These may not be as good as nibbling on Scharffenberger or Etienne Guittard, but they will do for the time being.
