Danish Pastry House

For any of you looking for a great bakery that has REAL Danish pastries (not the American version of the "Danish"), you should check out the Danish Pastry House on Arlington St. in Watertown. I was so excited to find it. I have had a very hard time finding the dense, grainy dark brown bread I loved so much when I was living in Denmark and they have it. It's not exactly the same, but it's the closet thing to it that I have been able to find. Their pastries and cakes are authentic too. They even have the HARIBO candy that I became addicted to when I was over there. For those of you that have never experienced the buttery, melt-in-your-mouth Danish pastry, do yourself a favor and get yourself to the Danish Pastry House. You'll never want to eat the American "Danish" again :-)
