DAN DAN NOODLES - Home Cooking Dish of the Month, May 2017

herby | Apr 30, 201705:08 PM     119

This was a tight competition between Dutch Babies and Dan Dan Noodles. Though dan dan noodles won this time, I am sure dutch babies will be in the DOTM limelight very soon!

I wanted to make this dish for a long while but somehow it never happened; no more excuses for me! I am going to start with the recipe in the only Fuchsia Dunlop cookbook that I own, Every Grain of Rice. To get you excited about dan dan noodles variations, here is a link to EYB listing - https://www.eatyourbooks.com/library/... . You might have some of these cookbooks and there are some online recipes as well.

Please use this thread to report on dan dan noodles that you make this month and in many months to follow.

In your reports, please share ingredients, methods, sources, inspirations, successes and failures, photos, and links to online recipes. Per Chowhound rules, please do not quote recipes verbatim.
