Damn good Cassoulet

annab | Mar 23, 2002 02:51 PM

Had dinner at Cossette last night- 33rd and 3rd. Meal was generally nice, restaurant is very pleasant and intimate, and the wine list is very good. But the best was the cassoulet- the only one I have ever had stateside that I've truly liked. The sausage was lovely, the beans firm and tender, the duck melting off the bone. It was a special and I don't know if they have it every day, but if you're a fancier of the stuff, don't miss this one. Maybe call ahead or the day before (since cassoulet takes 1 full day to make, if not longer) to see if it's being served.
